AKC Havanese Grand Champion – Gilwoods Lord of the Rings
The Havanese is the National Dog of Cuba and the country’s only native breed (Havana = Havanese). Although an old breed the Havanese was not officially recognized by the AKC until 1996. The Havanese are now the 25th most popular dog breed in the AKC.
There are 16 colors and 8 marking patterns in the Havanese breed.
Havanese are outgoing, funny, & intelligent.
