At El Morro Havanese, we approach the breeding of Havanese dogs with the sole purpose of producing the very best Havanese puppy possible. It is very important to us, because of our Cuban heritage, that everything we do enhances the quality of these wonderful Cuban dogs.
We actively show our Havanese in the American Kennel Club (AKC) show ring to prove our breeding program is sound. Breed type (the specific characteristics that make a Havanese look like a Havanese) and health are our number one priority, along with perfect Havanese temperament and socialization.
Our Havanese puppies are delivered in our bedroom and raised in the living room where they play constantly with our 3 children. Obviously any Havanese puppy that leaves our house is extremely well socialized.
We do screen prospective families and will place our Havanese puppies only in an approved home. We will be happy to answer any questions and always have some of our own.
